Vineyard Workers (Martinborough)
Craggy Range has an enviable reputation for quality, innovation and positioning in the New Zealand and Global wine market. Our ambition is to make world-class wines from a range of specially selected vineyards throughout the country.
We are looking for seasonal Vineyard Workers to join our team in Martinborough for temporary work. This role includes but is not limited to, crop thinning, netting, picking, pruning, and general vineyard development work.
No previous experience is required, however, the successful candidates must be physically fit.
Candidates must be able to listen to and follow instructions from Vineyard Supervisors as well as maintain a high standard of quality in their work.
These roles are fixed term and needed for the periods of June to September, and October to April. There will be some flexibility required with days worked due to seasonal variances and weather conditions.

Housekeeping Team Leaders
Craggy Range has an enviable reputation for quality, innovation and positioning in the New Zealand and Global wine market. The Giants Winery complex, located in Havelock North, is the home of Craggy Range where you will find a leading Cellar Door experience, an award-winning Restaurant and Luxury Accommodation.
Due to our busy operation, we are recruiting for three Housekeeping Team Leaders.
Reporting directly into the Executive Housekeeper, this is a permanent role with a minimum guarantee of 50 hours per fortnight, with the opportunity for additional hours as needed. The successful applicant will be required to be available to work weekends and public holidays.
You will naturally be suited to this role as you have a minimum of teo years’ previous experience in housekeeping in luxury high-end accommodation and have at least one years’ previous experience at a team leader or supervisory level.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be required to work alongside your team of housekeepers and will play a key part in creating a fun and exciting workplace. You will have strong communication skills with the confidence to provide regular coaching and feedback to your team. You will have the ability to work well under pressure and deal with last-minute operational changes. This role will suit someone who is highly organised and has strong attention to detail.

Cellar Door Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Cellar Door, based at our Winery on Waimarama Road.
We are looking for a permanent Cellar Door Assistant with an immediate start. The successful applicant will be offered a minimum of 25 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during the peak of summer.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Sous Chef looking to expand their culinary career by joining our Craggy Range Restaurant. We are looking for someone who will help us continue to evolve and push the direction of the food and leadership.
We like to get hands-on and expose all our chefs to great produce, and we encourage building relationships with those who supply us. We get all our fish in whole, dry age our meat and make our own cheese, and we want our senior chefs to lead with their cooking and training abilities.
We are a passionate and supportive kitchen with a continually changing menu and a great team environment.
You have the opportunity to develop your skills in the following areas while cooking two hat food:
- Culinary development
- Kitchen Management
- Staff training
The successful candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification and have proven experience as a Sous Chef and in a supervisory capacity. Experience in a comparable quality establishment is preferred.
