For the first time in more than a decade we are advertising an exciting opportunity for an experienced and visionary leader, to join our team as Chief Executive Officer.

Reporting to the Board, and with the support of an experienced leadership team, you will naturally provide strategic leadership and drive operational effectiveness, while having direct ownership for sales and marketing including overseeing our key distribution relationships.

To be eligible for this role you will need a minimum of 5 years in a senior sales, marketing, and business leadership role within the wine industry.  You will be a personable and collaborative leader, who is highly analytical and thrives in a rapidly evolving environment.  You will be truly passionate about the wine industry and have proven experience as a custodian, who nurtures and grows ultra-premium brands.  Equally important, you will thrive on the challenge of leading a high performing team to be the best they can be.

Machinery Operator, Martinborough

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Machinery Operator to join our team in Martinborough. The successful candidate will join a motivated team that works hard to maintain a high standard of quality.

The main duties of this role include the day to day operation of all vineyard machinery, including over-row tractors, and manual vineyard work.

The successful candidate will have :

  • Passion for viticulture / horticulture industry
  • Experience operating viticulture and / or horticulture machinery
  • Full driver’s license
  • Relevant qualifications i.e. Growsafe, Approve Handlers and HT would be an advantage


Previous experience in the viticulture or horticulture industry is preferred, however if you are looking for a start in the industry, full training can be provided, so we want to hear from you.

Executive Housekeeper

Reporting to the HR & Hospitality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all internal areas of the Giants Winery facility and Accommodation, including six cottages and three luxury lodges are maintained to a superior standard.

Your background should encompass significant experience in the smooth running of a housekeeping team within boutique or five star accommodation. Your skills will include managing budgets, stock control, processes and procedures, people management and health and safety regulations – so multitasking is just a natural part of your day and expertise.

Your meticulous nature will ensure that the level of attention to detail in all areas of your role are superior. A relevant business or hospitality qualification would be advantageous. Typically, working days would be Monday to Friday, however flexibility to work a minimum of 1 weekend a month based on business demand will be required.

You may have guessed – this role is not for the faint hearted. It is fast paced and will encompass not only the managerial aspects, but at times may be hands on working alongside the Housekeeping and wider Hospitality team. Therefore your communication style, approach and attitude will be welcoming, down to earth and collaborative.

Kitchen Hand

We are looking for a reliable Kitchen Hand with a great attitude, to join our passionate and supportive Restaurant team.

Duties include washing dishes to an expected standard, ensuring kitchen areas are kept clean and tidy, and ensuring the cleaning equipment is kept functioning throughout the kitchen during service.

There is some lifting in the role, therefore the successful applicant will need to meet this requirement.

We are open lunch and dinner and this role is a minimum of 20 hours per week over both week days and weekends. Work-life balance is important to us and we are committed to a flexible and sustainable roster.

Head Gardener

We are looking for a unique and fit individual with excellent horticultural skills to join our team as a Head Gardener and lead our gardening team to maintain and develop the garden and grounds on our Waimarama Rd site.

With a philosophy of being world class at every touch point, our grounds are an important first impression for guests and requires a team with rigorous attention to detail in everything they do.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and developing all aspects of horticulture onsite including established rose and vegetable gardens as well as our Suzanne Turley designed gardens.

The successful applicant will have:

  • Relevant horticulture qualifications
  • Previous practical and sounds horticulture knowledge and experience
  • Prior experience in turf management would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently and in a team; and
  • Flexibility and an ability to work well under pressure


This is a permanent full time role, with an immediate start date. The role will require the successful candidate to be available to work Monday to Friday, 7.30am – 5pm.

Full Time Personal Housekeeper

Based in Havelock North and reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, we are seeking an experienced multi-tasker to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the owners’ immaculate private residence on the Giants site and to support the wider Craggy Range housekeeping team. This is a full time position of 35 hours per week, typically working Monday – Friday. Some weekend work and flexible hors may be required when the owners are in residence.

The main responsibilities are:

  • General indoor and outdoor household cleaning
  • Washing and ironing laundry
  • Liaising with tradesmen, suppliers and contractors
  • Cooking for owners and guests as required
  • Watering plants and creating floral arrangements as required
  • Maintaining vehicles
  • Running errands, grocery shopping and restocking household items as required
  • Providing support in cleaning company offices, public areas, and accommodation as required


The successful applicant will have:

  • 2+ years experience in cleaning accommodation and facilities (preferably in a luxury setting)
  • Experience working with high end finishings and understand how various materials are to be treated in order to be appropriately maintained
  • Previous experience in a customer service role
  • Full clean drivers license
  • The proven ability to adhere to health and safety protocols

Cellar Door Assistant

We are looking for a permanent Cellar Door Assistant with an immediate start. The successful applicant will be offered a minimum of 30 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours during the peak of summer.
