Do I need a reservation?

We require all guests to have a confirmed reservation. Our wine experiences commence at set times each day, and bookings are required to avoid disappointment.

Can I visit and enjoy a glass of wine or platter without a tasting?

Wine by the glass is offered on a case-by-case basis and is dependent on table availability - priority will be given to guests who have participated in wine tastings and also our Prestige Wine Club members. Guests are welcome to purchase wine by the glass and wander through the vines and organic kitchen gardens. For those seeking a full dining experience, we recommend making a reservation at Craggy Range Restaurant.

What is the largest party size?

The largest party size we can accommodate is a party of 10. Groups of more than 10, may contact our Guest Experience team to discuss options: guest.experience@craggyrange.com

We have someone joining us who is not drinking, will they be charged?

We understand you may have a designated driver or a non-taster in your party. There is a charge of $15 per person for any non-tasters taking part in the Craggy Range Wine Experience and a charge of $35 in our Giants Estate Experience.

Are the experiences suitable for children?

Our tastings are designed as immersive and intimate experiences with up to a two-hour duration. Whilst we do welcome children, to ensure the comfort and enjoyment of all participants, we do ask you to consider the format and duration of our tastings, as they are not suitable for young children or infants. We do offer our wine experiences to be reserved privately; please speak to our team about exclusive pricing.

Are there dining options in Cellar Door?

We are operating at a limited capacity due to refurbishments on site in the winter season. From October 1st, guests will be able to enjoy a glass of wine and a limited menu in our courtyard. This option is not bookable, and is dependant on table availability with priority given to Prestige Wine Club Members and guests who have participated in Wine Experiences.For those seeking a full dining experience, no matter the weather, we recommend making a reservation at Craggy Range Restaurant.

Is there a Cellar Door or Wine Experiences in Martinborough?

Our Martinborough Estate is a working vineyard only, we do not offer wine tastings.

Do you allow pets onsite?

For the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, and to protect our working vineyard and kitchen gardens, we kindly ask that you do not bring dogs on site with the exception of registered guide dogs.

Duration – Approximately 60 minutes

During this semi-private experience, sample five of Craggy Range's current release Estate wines alongside one of our flagship Prestige wines. This is an ideal introduction to our winemaking philosophy and vineyard expression.

Price - $50 per person (waived with a 3-bottle wine purchase per person).

Giants Estate Experience

Duration – Approximately 2 hours

An immersive journey through the heart of Craggy Range, guests are guided through a seated tasting of our iconic wines, including those from our renowned Prestige Collection and rare bottles reserved exclusively for this experience culminating in a tour of our world-class winemaking facilities and our underground cellar.

Light bites from the kitchen, inspired by our organic kitchen gardens, complete this memorable tasting.

Price: $150 per person (priced at $175 as of 1st October 2025).
