Te Muna Sauvignon Blanc gives this simple Spritz added complexity.
Grown in the distinct soils of Te Muna, this wine offers brightness, balanced by a clean minerality, with a sophisticated texture. Compared with the more overtly tropical style often associated with a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Craggy Range Te Muna Sauvignon Blanc is more restrained and poised - making it well suited to cocktails where the wine itself remains the hero.
Elderflower subtly enhances the wines aromatics, while a dash of soda offers a light, refreshing sparkle creating a sophisticated aperitif.
The Recipe
This recipe makes a single spritz, but can easily be prepared in a pitcher for effortless entertaining.
INGREDIENTS
- 90ml Craggy Range Sauvignon Blanc, Te Muna, Martinborough
- 30ml St Germain Elderflower liquer
- 60ml Soda water
- Slice of fresh lemon
- Ice
METHOD
- In a wine glass, add the Sauvignon Blanc
- Add the Elderflower liqueur and fill with ice
- Top with soda, then gently stir
- Add a slice of fresh citrus for garnish
