Marketing Executive - Digital & Direct to Consumer

Craggy Range is a world-renowned, family-owned winery dedicated to crafting exceptional wines and hospitality experiences. As we grow our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business and look to enhance our online accessibility and presence, we’re seeking a Marketing Executive – Digital & Direct to Consumer to drive our digital platforms and customer engagement.

 

The Role

This role works with our Global Marketing Manager in overseeing our digital strategy, e-commerce, and customer experience. You’ll manage our website and DTC platform, execute digital campaigns, and enhance online customer interactions and experiences.

Key Responsibilities 

In this role, you’ll optimise the website and online store, manage digital campaigns, and track performance to boost engagement and sales. You’ll oversee and execute online platform marketing campaigns, content updates, and online product listings while driving customer acquisition and retention for wine club memberships and online sales. You will create digital content, manage social media campaigns, and ensure brand alignment across all platforms. Using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify, you’ll track key metrics and provide insights to improve digital performance.

About You 

  • You will have experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, or a similar role, with strong analytical skills and the ability to drive data-based decisions.
  • You’re proficient with tools like Google Analytics, Shopify, and CRM platforms, have a creative eye for content, and are proactive in problem-solving.
  • Graphic design skills are desirable, but not essential

Cellar Door Assistant

Craggy Range is renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation in both the New Zealand and global wine markets. The Role

We’re currently on the lookout for a Cellar Door Assistant who shares our passion for exceptional hospitality and world-class winemaking. While prior wine knowledge or experience is advantageous, it’s not essential – we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate who brings enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

New Restaurant Concept - FOH Management Positions

Craggy Range is bringing an exciting new dining experience to Hawke’s Bay, set to open mid-2025. Located on our picturesque Giants site, this new concept will offer a unique take on the Craggy Range dining experience. As we build a passionate and talented team, we’re looking for a Front of House Manager to lead out service team and deliver an exceptional hospitality experience in our new space.

The Role

As a Front of house Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping the service culture of our new restaurant. Working closely with our award-winning Executive Chef, Casey McDonald, and our senior restaurant leadership team, you’ll ensure a seamless guest experience, foster a strong team environment, and drive excellence in hospitality.

Key responsibilities include overseeing daily service operations, recruiting, training, and being part of a high performing FOH team, managing service flow, collaborating with the kitchen and beverage teams. You will lead by example with a hands-on approach and actively participate in service to create a warm and professional hospitality environment in this exciting new space!

You will also be involved in operational oversight, staff development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including health and safety, liquor licensing, and cash handling procedures.

About You

We’re looking for a passionate hospitality professional with:

  • Proven leadership experience in a high-end restaurant or hospitality venue
  • A genuine passion for food, wine, and delivering the Craggy Range experience
  • Strong organizational and problem solving skills
  • The ability to inspire and lead a team with energy and enthusiasm
  • Experience with POS systems, reservations, and operational procedures

Chef de Partie

We’re on the lookout for a Chef de Partie to join our team – a place where high standards and delicious food are what we are all about. You’ll be running your own section, jumping in to help where needed, and being part of a team that truly values working together.

The Role

In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping food prep and presentation top-notch, supporting a positive team environment, and assisting to train the up-and-coming talent in the kitchen. What does this position entail?

  • Menu Development and Production

Assisting the Head Chef in developing the menu and additional items that are creative and appealing according to the season supply relevance and inspiration.

  • Food Production and Quality

Ensure all food produced, prepared and presented is of the desired standards

  • Productivity and Morale

Ensure the maintenance of high productivity alongside high staff morale while working as a part of the team who treats others with professional respect and courtesy. Also work to motivate and assist junior staff in the kitchen to ensure they are trained and developed into a well-equipped team member.

  • Hygiene Sanitation and Food Safety

Daily maintenance of food safety programs, ensure appropriate storage and rotation of stock, ensure superior personal hygiene and kitchen hygiene is upkept at all times.

  • Learning and Development

Open to continuous learning opportunities of technical skills and food knowledge.

Housekeeper - Multiple Positions Available

Craggy Range Vineyards Ltd is seeking Housekeepers to join our Luxury Accommodation team in Hawkes Bay. Our Giants Site in Havelock North is renowned for its Cellar Door, award-winning Restaurant, Luxury Accommodation, and pristine grounds.

 

The Role

This role can provide anywhere from 15-30 hours a week. We have a great team of hardworking individuals and a hands-on Executive Housekeeper ensuring you have plenty of support.
