At this time of year, our Te Muna Estate vineyard in Martinborough is often cloaked in morning mist. Beneath the stillness, our teams are braving the winter chill, meticulously pruning our 250 hectares of vines in preparation for the growing season ahead.

The 2025 vintage was truly one for the books - remarkable in both quality and scale, marking one of our largest harvests to date.

Te Muna is home to our award-winning Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc - two varietals that thrive in this challenging climate. Unlike any other vineyard in the region, our Te Muna estate spans all three river terraces, each with distinct soils and microclimates. This imparts unmistakable character and purity to our wines, offering a true expression of place.

From our iconic Prestige Collection, Les Beaux Cailloux is a Peabody family favourite, celebrated for its poise, elegance, and pure expression of the Gimblett Gravels vineyard.

The 2023 vintage has already garnered high acclaim, with @james.suckling awarding it an exceptional 97 points:

“Very mineral and precise, showing aromas of fresh lemon peel, flint, red apples, river stones and grapefruit. The medium-bodied palate has high-tension acidity supported by an underlying power. Delicate and refined with plenty of complexity to unravel with time in bottle. Excellent.”
