This time of year can feel quiet and still at our Te Muna Road Estate vineyard in Martinborough, but on mornings like this, shrouded in mist – even the team pauses to take in the beauty.
This unique terraced landscape is home to our thriving Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, along with small plantings of Riesling and Pinot Gris, all nurtured by the stony soils and cool, Martinborough climate.
The new growing season is just around the corner, and with it, the promise of another remarkable harvest.
A great feature from @kengargett of @worldoffinewine, shining a light on our world-class wines and region - “Hawke’s Bay is New Zealand’s pinnacle red-wine district (yes, leaving aside Pinot Noir). It also produces exemplary Chardonnay, surely the country’s greatest white.”
We are honoured to be featured alongside our neighbours @trinityhillwines, @bilancianz, and @smithandsheth, with a stellar line-up of 2021 releases. Our iconic Le Sol - “a perennial favourite”, earned an incredible 98 points, praised for its richness, balance, and longevity.
We have an incredible crew at our Te Muna Vineyard in Martinborough. Often blanketed in early mist, this particular winter’s morning was crystal clear, and a crisp -6°C.
