A great feature from @kengargett of @worldoffinewine, shining a light on our world-class wines and region - “Hawke’s Bay is New Zealand’s pinnacle red-wine district (yes, leaving aside Pinot Noir). It also produces exemplary Chardonnay, surely the country’s greatest white.”
We are honoured to be featured alongside our neighbours @trinityhillwines, @bilancianz, and @smithandsheth, with a stellar line-up of 2021 releases. Our iconic Le Sol - “a perennial favourite”, earned an incredible 98 points, praised for its richness, balance, and longevity.
We have an incredible crew at our Te Muna Vineyard in Martinborough. Often blanketed in early mist, this particular winter’s morning was crystal clear, and a crisp -6°C.
Part of our iconic Prestige Collection, Aroha is characterised by rich, velvety tannins and a fine-boned structure.
Reflective of its namesake, Aroha is handcrafted with passion from unique parcels of Pinot Noir, including one of the renowned Abel clone. The pedigree of particular blocks in our Te Muna Road Vineyard is paramount to the quality of this wine - and as part of our journey to a more sustainable future, we are proud to now be farming all our Prestige blocks organically.
A move that is not only beneficial for the health of our vines, but allows the purest expression of site and season to shine.
