Today marks International Sauvignon Blanc Day and we are celebrating with our 2024 release - a vibrant expression of our Te Muna vineyard in Martinborough.
It opens with elegant aromas of white peach, lemon blossom, fresh herbs and passionfruit, balanced with a subtle salinity. Bright and highly food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with oysters or our raw fish dish at @craggyrangerestaurant.
The iconic Gimblett Gravels in Hawke`s Bay, is home to wines of remarkable purity - where Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet thrive, along with our distinctive, mineral-driven Chardonnay. This land tells a story of richness and character, but it`s the people who truly bring our iconic wines to life.
Our dedicated crew - many of whom have been part of the Craggy Range family for years, have worked tirelessly through vintage, joined by a talented group of interns who are now wrapping up their journey with us.
To our incredible team - thank you for your passion, grit, and relentless pursuit of excellence. Vintage 2025 will be one to remember!
Our Craggy Range Syrah is synonymous with the Gimblett Gravels, and the synergy between site and grape varietal is unparalleled.
This unique terroir allows the fruit to reach an optimal level of ripeness and plushness, while the cool nights allow the fruit to maintain its aromatic intensity and vibrant flavour.
Available now, the 2022 release has evolved beautifully, with intense notes of cherry and crushed raspberry, along with dried floral aromatics and characteristic fine tannin finish. A delicious drop to enjoy with roast lamb rack.
